How Cats Can Transmit Infection

Ringworm is extremely contagious, and almost all mammals are
susceptible to it, but often easy to treat with the proper resources. Ringworm
is sometimes, but not always detectable under ultraviolet lights and a hair
sample should be given to your vet for a fungal culture. If positive, cultures
should be taken weekly throughout treatment.
