Mickey a tabby cat belonging to Shepherd and Sons of
Burscough, Lancashire, England. A champion mouser, he was 23 when he died
in 1967. It is estimated that he killed 22,000 mice.
Towser
Towser was a tortoiseshell belonging to a Tayside
Distillery, and he is said to have killed over 28,000 mice. He died in 1987
