Felines have often been used as characters in literature, movies and in other forms of the media. Here is a listing of some of the many fictional cats:-

Tobias: A tall black talking cat with magical powers in the "Tim and the Hidden People" series by Sheila McCullough.
The Three Little Kittens: "The three little kittens who lost their mittens" nursery rhyme.
Sampson:  In the Church Mice series by Graham Oakley.
Mogget: A magical cat, in the fantasy novels Sabriel, Lirael and Abhorsen by Garth Nix.
Midnight Louie: Featured in a series of romantic mystery novels by Carole Nelson Douglas.

Mehitabel: From archy and mehitabel, a dialogue between a melancholy cockroach and a heedless cat, by Don Marquis.

Jaguar: The name for these cars was said to be chosen from a list of animals whose names suggested power and elegance.
Panther: Panther Motorcycles were manufactured in Cleckheaton, Yorkshire, UK from 1900 to 1967.
Tiger, Tigress, Tiger Cub: Triumph Motorcycles was founded in 1902 by two Germans,  Siegfried Bettman & Muaritz Shulte.
Arctic Cat: Arctic Cat are one of the world's four big makers of the snowmobile.
Puma: The Puma (racing) Car history started in the small city of Matão in São Paulo, Brazil in 1964.
Puma: Famous for their shoes & sportswear.
Puma: A company producing first class quality knifes that can be found all over the world.
Cheshire Cat:  A character in Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland.
Abuherrira's Cat: A legendary cat who belonged to one of the companions of the Moslem prophet Mohammed.
Belling the Cat: This old folk-tale is known all around the world, and is widely used to imply that an offered solution is impossible:
The Cactus Cat: This fearsome feline was said to have thorn-like hair, a branched tail, and sharp blades of bone on its front legs.
The Cat That Walked By Himself: This, like many of Kipling's stories, is very popular for reading to children.
