Human Food Dangerous To Cats
Personally I don't agree with giving any human food to
cats at all. It teaches them to plague you and any guests you might be
entertaining to give them some of your food - not nice for your guests!
especially if they are not as fond of cats as you are. You also have to
remember that most human food is simply not good for your pet - cat or
dog. Cats need the nutrients specifically provided for them in good,
premium cat foods.
The main reason not to feed pets human food is the fact that
many foods are very toxic to animals, for example gravy normally contains
onion which is highly toxic to cats. below is a list of foods that
cats should never eat:
| Onions, Garlic, & Related Root Vegetables Green
Tomatoes, Green (raw Potatoes)
Tomatoes and tomato plants
Mushrooms
Alcohol
Nutmeg |
Chocolate Grapes and Raisins
Macadamia Nuts
Chicken Bones
Xylitol: This is a sugar substitute
Coffee & Tea |
