Allogrooming
Allogrooming is the name given the action when one cat grooms
another. A kitten will experience this from the moment of birth, for up to 3
weeks, then the kitten will start to groom
itself. Allogrooming will still occur between adult cats, especially
if they have grown up together. Its primary function being to promote friendly
relations rather than that of mutual hygiene.
